On Wednesday, Cambridgeshire Police received a call from the woman, who asked for help to remove the snake from her living room.

They tweeted: “We were called by an elderly woman whose cat had brought a snake into her living room yesterday. They added: “The woman was able to send us a video of the cat and the snake direct to our control room thanks to @GoodSamApp. It helped officers assess the situation before arriving!”
