Police in Edinburgh were attacked with “fireworks, petrol bombs and other projectiles” as officers were on their duty to deal with a fire disorder on Sunday.
The incident reportedly occurred in Hay Avenue as people gathered to celebrate Bonfire Night.
The police stated that some roads are currently closed as the authorities deal with the incident.
