Protestors stormed Edinburgh Castle earlier this morning – resulting in the popular UK landmark being put on lockdown.
A small group of cost of living protestors from This Is Rigged have been arrested after the protest.
They are demanding Government action to tackle the cost of living crisis, Metro reports.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 10.45am we were called to a report of a small protest within Edinburgh Castle.
“Officers attended and two women aged 20 and 24 years, and a 20-year-old man were arrested in connection with damage caused. Enquiries are ongoing.’
