A drone attack in Jordan has resulted in the death of three U.S. troops and injuries to 25 others.
The incident occurred at Tower 22, a location in northeast Jordan near the Syria border, where the victims were sleeping in tents.
President Joe Biden attributed the attack to “radical Iran-backed militant groups” operating in Syria and Iraq.
The identities of the military personnel will be kept confidential for 24 hours, allowing time for their next of kin to be notified, according to U.S. officials.
