Donald Trump's 'mental state' hurting him in court as psychiatrist sends huge warning

She edited the 2017 book ‘The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump’, which included essays from 27 psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals who believed Trump was unfit for office.

Speaking to Daily Express US, Dr. Lee claims the court cases are being affected by Trump’s “mental state”, pointing to various comments he has made toward judges, their families, and other officials.

She said: “I think the question is how his mental state is affecting his legal cases. There is a whole list of threats he has made to judges, their families, the prosecutors, and the Attorney General.

“All of this has happened because he has used his psychological influence on his followers. He is using this as a weapon against the institutions so that they are no longer able to administer the law.”

The judge in Trump’s hush money trial imposed a gag order to curtail “inflammatory” speech.

Judge Juan Merchan barred the former president from making public statements about probable trial witnesses “concerning their potential participation in the investigation or in this criminal proceeding.”

But since then, Trump has risked yet more penalties from the courts by disparaging two key witnesses and criticizing the judge in his case.

In a post on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday, he called his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, and the adult film actor Stormy Daniels “two sleaze bags who have, with their lies and misrepresentations, cost our Country dearly!”
