In October, Trump claimed he would end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours of becoming President, were he to be re-elected in November.
He said during a CNN Town Hall: “If I am President, I will have that war settled in one day, in 24 hours.
“I will meet with Putin, I will meet with Zelensky; they both have weakness and they both have strengths.
“And within 24 hours that war will be settled. It will be over.”
