Donald Trump LIVE: Ex-staffer denies she was sexually harassed by Trump in White House

A woman has denied being sexually harassed by Donald Trump during her time at the White House.

Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham alleged that Trump took an interest in the “younger staffer”.

But she has now broke her silence and told Newsweek that Grisham’s claims are “totally false”.

“None of what is being insinuated or alleged is even remotely true,” she said.

Grisham then told Newsweek that the woman did not hear Trump make comments about her, and added: “Everybody talked about how much he paid attention to her and he always called for her and wanted her on trips.

“Everybody noticed it. It’s kind of a well-known thing in D.C. circles.”

The allegations emerged after Trump was found liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll in the 1990’s, which prompted former staff to speak out about the former President’s behaviour.

Alyssa Farah, who used to be Trump’s White House communications director, told CNN on Tuesday that she felt the way the then-President “engaged with women was dangerous”.

Grisham also alleged to the broadcaster that the younger staffer and Trump’s interactions made her “extremely uncomfortable”.
