Donald Trump Jr 'sad to announce' his father's death in series of bizarre Twitter posts

Donald Trump Jr.’s Twitter account appears to have been hacked after he posted that his father, Donald Trump, was dead.

The bizarre post on X said: “I’m sad to announce, my father Donald Trump has passed away. I will be running for president in 2024.”

Other since-deleted tweets include: “This just in: North Korea is about to get smoked.” and “Some interesting messages with Jeffrey Epstein.”

One tweet featured a racial slur about Joe Biden while another directed at X owner Elon Musk called the tech billionaire a “bum” adding: “My dad owns you.”

The former First Son appears to have regained control of the account and the tweets have since been deleted shortly after 9am ET.

The term “Hacked” was trending on X following the episode with several social media users commenting on the bizarre incident.

One X user simply posted “you have been hacked” while a Donald Trump parody account posted: “Give my son his account back.”

The real Donald Trump proved he was in fact very much alive when he posted an unrelated message on his own social media platform – Truth Social – more than thirty minutes after his supposed “death”.

Don Jr.’s brother, Eric Trump, took to social media to poke fun at his brother following the hack.

He said: “What was @donaldtrumpjr password? Don2024?”

So far, neither Donald Trump Jr. nor his father have released a statement regarding the apparent breach.
