Dillon Danis launches into explosive Logan Paul drug testing rant

MMA fighter, boxer, and social media personality Dillion Danis has questioned the legitimacy of Logan Paul’s test demand for their upcoming co-main event boxing match. The pair fight on the undercard for KSI vs. Tommy Fury.

Misfits Boxing promoter Mams Taylor took to social media to share that Paul contacted him, reaffirming that he wants drug testing for the bout. The social influencer and WWE superstar noted that he doesn’t care if the testing is done through USADA, VADA, or someone else as long as it gets done.

He posted: “Logan just called me and reiterated that he absolutely wants testing for his bout. He stressed that he doesn’t care if it’s USADA, VADA or other. Plus the WWE does stringent testing on top of that. For everybody’s peace of mind, MFB will and was always going to administer testing.”

Danis replied with skepticism in a quote tweet directed at Taylor. He labeled the testing as a scam, further questioning the legitimacy of Paul’s reasoning for the testing.

“I love you, Mams, but this is the biggest scam. The reason USADA is effective is because of its random testing during camp.” wrote Danis on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Logan Paul wants testing now because he used [banned substances] during camp, and now he’s having a doctor clean his system, anticipating a test might be coming. And WWE tests regularly? Come on, I don’t even need to comment on that.”

Paul has confirmed that the fight will include VADA drug testing in the weeks leading up to next month’s bout. The YouTuber-turned-boxer made this announcement during an appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani.

Paul asserted that Danis, and others who have raised concerns, will be disappointed when his clean test results are revealed next month. The pair are scheduled to face each other on Oct. 14 at the Manchester Arena.

The tension between Danis and Paul reached a significant peak in the buildup to their fight beyond drug testing. Danis took personal shots at Paul by posting several racy images of Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, on social media without her consent.

In response, Paul publicly stated that these actions did not affect him emotionally. Instead, it made him determined to teach Danis a lesson when the fight night arrived, provided Danis showed up.

Agdal threatened to take legal action, serving legal papers to Danis for using her on his social media without consent. He responded by hinting that he would pull out of the fight.

Danis was initially slated to compete against KSI in a boxing match earlier this year. However, he withdrew from the fight 10 days before the date. The Misfits Boxing promoter explained that Danis was deemed unprepared for the contest then.

Recognizing Danis’s history of backing out of high-profile fights at the last minute, Paul took precautions by implementing a $100,000 clause as a penalty should he fail to appear for their scheduled bout.
