Josh and Laura got married just three months ago, with the goalkeeper posting pictures of their big day to his social media, writing: “Mr & Mrs Vickers – 01.06.2023,” with a white heart emoji.
Laura commented: “Always & forever,” with a red love heart.
Vickers, 27, proposed last year next to a beautiful lake in the Canadian mountains. After she said yes, he posted a snap of her hand wearing a diamond ring as he gushed: “She Said YES Lake Louise 11.06.2022.”
Vickers has received an outpour of support from the football community and beyond, with Championship club West Brom among those to offer their condolences, having replied to Derby’s initial post with: “The thoughts of everyone at West Bromwich Albion are with Josh, along with Laura’s family, friends and loved ones.”
