A dedicated King Charles is juggling his public duties with cancer treatment, as it was revealed on a royal visit that he was due to arrive at therapy later today (April 30). The monarch resumed work today amid his ongoing cancer treatment, receiving the green light from doctors to mix with people.
He was seen beaming with Queen Camilla by his side as he visited a cancer hospital, University College Hospital, in London. Arriving at the Macmillan Cancer Centre, Charles flashed a smile as he began chatting to patients and staff.
The 75-year-old himself is undergoing treatment for cancer, a diagnosis which was announced back in February. The type of cancer he is suffering from is not confirmed, but his openess about the condition has increased awareness.
