Daughter's 'unbearable pain' after missing mum found dead in jaws of 14-foot alligator

The daughter of a woman found lifeless in the jaws of an alligator has described her “unbearable pain”.

Sabrina Peckham, who was 41 and homeless on the streets of Florida, was identified as the victim of a massive 14-foot alligator shot dead by police over the weekend.

The reptile was spotted in a canal next to a residential street with Ms Peckham’s body.

Now daughter Breauna Dorris, 23, expressed hope that her mother is at peace and no longer enduring suffering.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Dorris wrote: “To my mother: I love you more than I ever expressed, I miss you more than you’ll ever know and I pray that you are looking down over me and your grandchildren.

“Please protect us. I’m so sorry this happened to you.
