Crisis for Rishi Sunak escalates as two Tory bosses are dragged into tax dodging row

Two Tory bosses have been dragged into the tax dodging row, just days after party chairman Nadhim Zahawi resigned.

Graham Edwards, brought in by Mr Sunak to run the Conservative party’s finances, was found to have used a tax avoidance scheme.

Meanwhile, Conservative chief executive Stephen Massey is working on the side for a firm that encouraged the rich to reduce tax bills by funnelling cash into a controversial movie investment project.

This spells trouble for Mr Sunak, who was forced to sack his party chairman as a result of his tax affairs.
