A couple said they were left scared after spotting what appeared to be a ghostly figure in their fried egg on their wedding anniversary.
Martin and Kim Thomas, from Hailsham, East Sussex, encountered the unusual phenomenon on October 31 last year – the same day as their 20th wedding anniversary.
While Kim was making breakfast for Martin, something unusual caught their attention – a ghostly figure that seemed to appear in their fried egg.
This unexpected sight left them feeling slightly spooked.
Martin said: “The irony is that it was on Halloween last year, which is our wedding anniversary.

When Kim agreed to marry me, she said the one day of the year when the two worlds are closest together is Halloween and if we got married then her dad could come.
He continued: “Kim said she would make me a cooked breakfast for our anniversary and then pulled me out into the kitchen and said ‘look’ – and there it was. I immediately took a picture of the egg it looked like Casper [the ghost].”
It comes after a young couple recently shared their decision to search for a new home following a similarly unsettling incident.
They alleged to have witnessed a ghostly figure passing by their daughter’s crib.
Heather Brough, the mother, had gone downstairs with her one-year-old daughter, Lily Higgins, after she woke up from a nap. To her surprise, she found three deep “purple scratches” on Lily’s cheek.
Heather and her partner, Josh Higgins, who were living in Kris’ guesthouse, decided to investigate the cause of these unexplained injuries.
They initially wondered if Lily had scratched herself during sleep.
However, when they reviewed the baby camera footage, they were startled to witness a male figure swiftly walking past Lily’s crib before vanishing into thin air.
This unsettling discovery prompted them to consider finding a new place to live.
Investigators confirmed the house had “paranormal activity” Kris claimed the former owner of the home was an elderly lady who lay with a broken hip for “a very long time” until she was found dead at the bottom of the stairs.
Her brother lived in the guesthouse until his death some years later.
