Nottinghamshire police have confirmed that Counter Terrorism are now investigating the murder of at least three people in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Chief Constable Kate Meynell released a statement this afternoon saying Counter Terrorism Policing were present at the crime scene “to establish the facts”, which she added was standard procedure.
She said the investigating teams were keeping an “open mind” while the case is still in its infancy but maintained confidence in their earlier arrest, declaring that they “do not believe there is anyone else involved in this incident”.
