A convicted sex offender was filmed racially abusing a fellow driver before crashing his car into a wall. Tracy Robert Blackwell now faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon and hate crime enhancements.
In 2001 he was convicted of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. The 61-year-old was seen in footage posted to Instagram,
Then in a shocking clip, Blackwell is seen hurtling into a wall on the highway in a white Jeep, shouting racial slurs and sticking up his middle finger, reports The Daily Express US.
He was shouting at another driver’s car and appears to be intentionally attempting to run them off the road.

Shortly after his tirade, Blackwell lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the side of the road.
Police have said the footage was filmed on Interstate Highway 880, near Hegenberger Road in Oakland.
The footage was viewed by California Highway Patrol, leading to Blackwell’s arrest and charges.
In a statement, the highway patrol said: “At one point during the video, it appeared the driver attempted to intentionally ram the victim’s vehicle before losing control and crashing into a wall on the right shoulder of the freeway.”
Savvy interest users managed to track down the identity of Blackwell by researching his licence plate.
Blackwell formerly worked as a “furniture repairman contracting his services to department stores” in December 2000.
As well as his previous sex offence charges, Black has also been charged with drug use and burglary.
