Christians dumped dead rat at gay couple's restaurant in neighbour feud

The Washers claim they have been insulted by restaurant staff, lived with a bright security light shining into their home, and have found used chewing tobacco next to their car doors. They say the dispute began when they asked the restaurant to move its bins away from their window – and offered it two car parking spaces to home their dumpsters.

They claim the offer earned them a visit by from sheriff’s deputies, who served them with no-trespassing orders. Four days later, they responded with no-trespassing notices of their own – which forbid anyone working or visiting the Front Porch could use the parking spaces that the Washers own, but once shared as a courtesy with the neighbouring businesses.

Then the Washers got their attorney to send letters to Front Porch suppliers, including its produce supplier, trash collector and uniform company, prohibiting them from unloading in the Washers’ parking spaces.
