Christian Horner rubs salt in Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff's wounds at Abu Dhabi GP

“I know we’re at the end of the year where we’re trying to drum things up here but this is sort of scraping the barrel a bit.”

Hamilton’s last race win came at the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix during his tense title battle with Max Verstappen. Since then, the British racing superstar has been powerless to stopping Verstappen’s dominance in F1.

The 26-year-old has won all but three races this year heading into the season finale in Abu Dhabi today. His 2023 season is the most dominant campaign in F1 history, surpassing Alberto Ascari’s record who had a winning percentage of 75 per cent.
