Horner, who tied the knot with former Spice Girl Geri in 2015, has spoken to the public on numerous occasions across the weekend as he resumed his duties after Red Bull’s investigation had been concluded.
After an email fiasco involving alleged texts had been spread across the paddock, Horner refused to comment and reiterated his prior stance. “I won’t comment on anonymous speculation, but to reiterate, I have always denied the allegations,” he said.
“I respected the integrity of the independent investigation and fully cooperated with it every step of the way. It was a thorough and fair investigation conducted by an independent specialist barrister and it has concluded, dismissing the complaint made.”
Two days after the leak, Geri joined Horner in Bahrain in an act of solidarity together and the Red Bull chief has remained steadfast in claiming that their relationship remains “very strong” despite a tumultuous period in their lives.
