Child falls out of 'moving car' on busy M25 with police shutting slip-road


Traffic was brought to a standstill on the M25 motorway today when a terrifying moment unfolded as a child is said to have “fallen” from a moving car.

Police and air ambulances rushed to the scene on the A127 slip road near Junction 29 of the busy road at around 11.30am. 

After being checked for injuries at the roadside the youngster, of an unknown age, was taken to hospital. Essex Police confirmed the child was injured in the incident but that the injuries were not life-threatening or life changing.

It’s reported the child involved fell from a “moving car”, according to The Sun. The slip road was closed as enquiries into the incident by attending police officers got underway.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are currently on the scene of an incident on the M25.

“Officers were called to the A127 slip road of the M25 near Junction 29 shortly before 11:30am following reports of a child being injured on the road. Air ambulance were in attendance and the child has been taken to hospital.”
