Chelsea star 'could be reunited' with team-mate at Real Madrid in January transfer window

Kepa has already made his desire to make his move permanent, however, but whether he will be joined at the club by Cucurella in January remains to be seen. “Let’s hope so,” Kepa said at his Madrid unveiling, when asked if he’d like to see his season-long loan become permanent.

“Today is the first day. I’m here on loan. But we have time and we’ll see. Let’s hope with my effort, and my performance above all, I can make that happen.”

Chelsea’s stance on letting Cucurella leave in January remains unknown, but as he appears out of Pochettino’s plans and the Blues were prepared to let him leave in the summer, he could well find himself back working alongside Kepa.
