A Canadian woman has shocked TikTok users with her incredible make-up skills which some users say makes her look like Mariah Carey.
Sarah Andres, who goes by the username @lashesandlosing on the social media platform, shared a clip with her 747,700 fans where she shows how she transforms her appearance.
Over the course of the video, Ms Andres adds two new top teeth and a lot of make-up to dramatically change her appearance.
In response to the footage, fans said they were impressed with her resemblance to the famous singer.
Despite the close resemblance to Ms Carey, it wasn’t necessarily clear whether this had been Ms Andres’ intention.
Nevertheless, Ms Andres welcomed the positive comparisons between herself and the famous artist.
However, not all comments about her make-up skills were positive.
Some users warned that the transformation was a little too dramatic.
One user wrote: “Scary ain’t it boys? You never know.”
Another user rudely added: “Until you wake up next to them in the morning.”
While some were sceptical of Ms Andres’ make-up skills, the rest of the comments below the footage were overwhelmingly positive.
Many asked Ms Andres, who lost her top front teeth in an accident, for a full make-up tutorial so they could use some of her skills.
Furthermore, Ms Andres is proud of her extraordinary talents.
Referring to the large difference between her appearance before and after the make-up she described herself as a “catfish”.
According to Age UK, a catfish is defined as “someone who sets up a fake online profile to trick people who are looking for love, usually to get money out of them”.
Ms Andres is using this term in a joking way in the context of her TikTok account which has amassed over eight million likes.
