A man was left shocked after finding a Homer Simpson-shaped carrot in what he thought would be just your average food shop.
Romanzo Zolanzo had picked up a bag of the staple veg as part of his weekly food shop, but when he pulled out the root vegetable for his dinner he noticed a familiar face looking back at him.
The carrot has the beloved The Simpsons character’s big round eyes and nose. But the resemblance doesn’t stop there.
The vegetable even has Homer’s signature beard sticking out of it. And all of that is topped off by a few green sprouts at the top, just like Homer’s few sprouts of hair.
All of these uncanny features also just so happen to be completely matching the proportions of Homer himself; the oversized mouth, the beady eyes, and the lack of hair.

Romanzo, who is from Ukraine, posted the photo online, saying “Looks like Homer Simpson.”
It didn’t take long for other fans of The Simpsons to chime in and add their comments on the uncanny resemblance.
Szabi Máté made the funny connection, “If Homer Simpson and Carrot Top had a child.”
Another commenter, Brittany Davidson, followed up with the amusing remark, “I think he would be happy you’re eating since he loves to eat.”
All commenters were in agreement, saynig things like, “Looks just like Homer,” “Definitely old school homer for sure,” and “Wow so it does.”
This miracle of nature, or freak of nature depending on how you look at it, is clearly bringing joy to fans of The Simpsons everywhere.
Maybe next week we’ll be seeing a potato that looks like Peter Griffin!
