Reaction on social media echoed those sentiments, as @fanvirtual_5 on X (formerly known as Twitter) said: “Told ya! The Shot of the tournament…” While @ishtejeevana posed the same question: “Shot of the tournament?”
@brokenminor2hbh explained how such shots that we have come to expect from Alcaraz as an entertainer separate him from Rafael Nadal. “I love the way he’s kind of the opposite of Nadal in reacting to playing unreal shots,” they wrote. “Nadal is sucked into the competitiveness of the moment whereas Alcaraz is like ‘haha that was fun everybody, wasn’t it’?”
