Carlos Alcaraz vs Novak Djokovic LIVE: Rivals battle again as Jannik Sinner awaits winner

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will renew their rivalry on Saturday night as they meet at the ATP Finals with a place in the final on the line. The pair have met four times in the past and are split at 2-2 in their head-to-head.

It was Djokovic who won their last meeting – a tight final at the Cincinnati Open that lasted three hours and 48 minutes and went down to the wire in a final set tiebreak. The world No 1 saved a championship point to come through 5-7 7-6(7) 7-6(4). And it came exactly five weeks after Alcaraz beat him in the Wimbledon final 1-6 7-6(6) 6-1 3-6 6-4, becoming the first man in a decade to defeat Djokovic on Centre Court.

Jannik Sinner awaits the winner in the final after he defeated Daniil Medvedev in the first semi-final of the day 6-3 6-7(4) 6-1. Sinner has already beaten Djokovic this week in the round-robin stage and, should he advance, the 36-year-old will have a shot at revenge. Sinner and Alcaraz also have an exciting rivalry, with the Italian leading their head-to-head by four wins to three losses.
