Camilla is chic in recycled floral dress and trendy trench coat at Palace of Holyroodhouse

Queen Camilla and King Charles looked smart today as they visited the Jubilee Gates at the entrance to Abbey Yard at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Today marked a sentimental visit as the Jubilee Gates were installed to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Charles’s late mother Queen Elizabeth II.

For the occasion, Camilla looked beautiful in an off-white trench coat which fell just below her knees, uncovering her slim legs.

In keeping with royal protocol, the Queen opted for sheer tights and white kitten heels.

Underneath her cool trench coat Camilla wore a midnight blue dress by Fiona Clare, complete with a white, green and yellow floral pattern.

Ever the sustainable fashionista, Camilla previously donned this same garment at the Chelsea Flower Show in May 2023.

In true Camilla style, the shift dress was boasted structured shoulders and a drop waist.

The floral patterns added a bright touch to an otherwise rainy day in Edinburgh.

The royal paired her look with a large white and sheer brolly, a practical yet chic accessory for unpredictable weather.

As for jewellery, Camilla went for some pearl drop earrings – iconically clip-on as she revealed she would never get her ears pierced.

She also rarely leaves the house without her Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage Alhambra bracelet with blue motifs, and today was no exception.

Hair and makeup was classic Camilla, buttery blonde and flicked out to the sides, plus dark eyes, pink lips and rouged cheeks.

The official Van Cleef & Arpels website reads: “Faithful to the very first Alhambra jewel created in 1968, the Vintage Alhambra creations by Van Cleef & Arpels are distinguished by their unique, timeless elegance.

“Inspired by the clover leaf, these icons of luck are adorned with a border of golden beads.”

Charles looked dapper beside his Queen in a navy suit, white shirt and blue patterned tie.
