Boris Johnson's two-year-old daughter rushed to hospital after nursery incident

Boris Johnson’s child Romy has been rushed to hospital after an incident at nursery.

The former PM’s wife, Carrie Johnson, told her Instagram followers that little Romy sustained a cut which was “pretty deep” after an accidental fall.

She said: “The last 48 hours have been pretty grim here. My daughter fell at nursery and needed to go to hospital as the cut was pretty deep and then all three kids have picked up some vomiting virus and have been sick multiple times. I’m looking after them on my own while having a stinking cold and also feeling pretty off-colour. A dose of reality on here!”

In a further update today, Carrie Johnson, 35, said: “I think we’re coming out the other end of it because Romy is laughing and no one has vomited for a few hours. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you.”
