A bodybuilding champion has died after drowing in a lake while on a fishing trip in Romania. Catalin Stefanescu, 30, was found 3ft deep in the water in Dambovita County on Sunday, according to local news outlet Targoviste News.
A former national bodybuilding champion in the 80 kg weight category, Mr Stefanescu was reportedly found unconscious by a friend who had joined him on the fishing trip.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
