The body of an unidentified woman with “burn marks” on her remains have been found on a football pitch. The alarm was raised by members of the public today (February 24) at around 9am.
The pitch, in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, is now at the cente of a police investigation.
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed they had launched an investigation and described the death as “unexplained”.
