An investigation is underway after a man’s body was found in the street on a housing estate this morning. Police were called at around 7am to reports of a man found collapsed.
A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene, on the Ridge Estate in Lancaster.
His family has been informed.
In a statement, Lancashire Police said: “We were called at 7am today (February 5) to Patterdale Road, Lancaster, to reports that a man had been found collapsed in the street.
“Sadly, a man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner.”
