Bodies discovered in the River Thames less than a mile apart


Two bodies have been found in the River Thames less than a mile apart, according to the Metropolitan Police.

This comes after the force announced that it believed it was likely that suspected Clapham acid attacker Abdul Shokoor Ezedi had entered the water.

Police were called to separate discoveries of bodies in the water. The first was found near HMS Belfast at 10:13am on Saturday morning. The second was recovered in the east of the city in Limehouse at 10:39am.

The police are working to confirm the identities of the two deceased people.
