Barista allegedly hides camera in toilet to 'perv on attractive customers'

A 31-year-old barista has been arrested as police say he used his phone to perv on customers in the toilet. Spyridon Voulgarakis has been arrested at the ironically-named We Spy Coffee & More for allegedly filming customers in the bathroom. The barista has admitted to hiding his mobile phone under the sink to record at least 10 men he “found attractive”, according to police.

One victim confronted Voulgarakis after “spotting the phone under the sink, facing the toilet [and] recording,” according to an arrest affidavit posted online by Law & Crime.

He then called the authorities and the phone was handed over to the Tarpon Springs Police Department.

The booking officer wrote in the affidavit: “I reviewed the video and I observed that [Voulgarakis] surreptitiously recorded the victim in a private bathroom which captured his genitals for the purpose of self-gratification.”
