Bargain £235k six bedroom home that hasn't sold after four years on the market

A six bedroom house with a bargain price of £235,000 is proving to be a stubborn property to shift.

The home in Merseyside remains on the market years after it was first listed for sale with its price reduced in April 2020.

However the property in King Street, Southport, remains advertised on the Purplebricks website and on RightMove despite it being cheaper than the UK average house price of £284,950.

The property – which boasts rooms set over three floors – is less than half a mile from Southport Train Station and a short walk from the nearby Princes Park.

The listing on Purple Bricks says: “Currently used as a residential property but would make an ideal investment opportunity for flats/bedsits or a guest house.

“Located in Southport Town Centre comprising: entrance hallway, open plan lounge/dining room, additional reception room, kitchen, utility room, six bedrooms, study, two bathrooms and two separate toilets.

“There is a private courtyard to the rear and driveway for one vehicle to the front.”
