At least six children, some as young as three, as well as one adult have reportedly been stabbed after a knifeman reportedly “wearing a turban” launched an attack in a small playground in Annecy, France. The attacker is believed to have been subdued by the police following the assault, with France’s Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin confirming that the assailant had been arrested. The lone attacker, reportedly of Syrian origin, assaulted the group of toddlers at 9.45am local time (7.45am GMT), according to a local official.
