Armed police have been spotted raiding a home in suburban Sheffield – the reason for the raid remains unclear.
Two images posted on social media reveal several black-clad officers armed with riot shields. From the images it is not known whether the police were carrying firearms.
The two images were posted by Vini Souza Jones on X, formerly Twitter, under the caption: “Armed coppers responding to a situation on Dyke Vale Road, heard it was hostages but not certain”.
