Police have surrounded a Liverpool pub as helicopters hover above.
There is a huge police presence around The Spellow on Goodison Road, Walton, reports The Liverpool Echo.
A large number of police vehicles are parked close to the pub.
Eye witnesses say armed officers and police dogs have entered the building.
A cordon is now in place on Goodison Road but residents are still able to access their homes.
