Armed officers are reportedly sealing off a large part of Sheffield City Centre after “armed men” started fighting. The call was made at 2.10pm, the Sheffield Star says.
People had seen a reported disturbance on Bank Street, where it’s claimed individuals were carrying weapons. An armed unit is said to have responded.
Bank Street and the High Street is currently blocked, with a picture from the scene showing two police cars in front of a cordon – along with an officer manning it.
