Archie and Lilibet's extravagant Easter celebrations in California revealed

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will celebrate Easter Sunday like many other children – by eating chocolate eggs. It is known that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle enjoy celebrating the Easter weekend in style. In the past, the California-based family have used their huge Montecito mansion to its full advantage for the holiday.

Both Harry and Meghan are thought to be hands-on parents to their two children, and try to make the most of the celebations.

The Sussex parents typically enjoy hosting an extravagant Easter egg hunt in the mansion’s impressive garden.

In last year’s Netflix docu-series, the Duke and Duchess shared a home video from a previous egg hunt at their home.

The clip, shown in the six-part series, sees Harry, Meghan, and her mother Doria crafting an Easter egg hunt trail for Archie in their garden.

At one moment in the clip, Harry can be seen placing a cardboard bunny in a flowerbed in the garden.

At the time of the footage, Meghan was pregnant with Lilibet but it is thought that the young princess will join in on this year’s celebrations.

The incredible seven-acre garden in Montecito boasts a complete playground, which features two slides, a climbing frame, a tightrope, a helter-skelter, and two types of climbing walls.

The rest of the mansion also includes a wine cellar, swimming pool, and a separate guesthouse.

Meghan is also understood to be a big fan of cooking, so the Sussex children could be in for an Easter feast tomorrow.

However, across the Atlantic, the Royal Family in the UK is preparing to mark a bittersweet Easter Sunday this weekend.

The royals will be led by King Charles for the first time, as they celebrate their first Easter without the late monarch.

It is also the second anniversary of the death of the Queen’s devoted husband Prince Philip on Sunday.

Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, and Prince and Princess of Wales, are expected to gather together in Windsor for the weekend.

Like Meghan and Harry, Kate has reportedly been tasked with organising an Easter egg hunt for the royal children over the weekend.

Royal Family members like Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and the Duchess of Edinburgh are expected to attend the church service at St George’s Chapel on Sunday.
