'Absolutely no signs' feuding brothers Harry and William will reach a truce and reunite

Prince William and Prince Harry show “absolutely no signs” of repairing their broken relationship anytime soon, according to royal expert Sarah Hewson.

This comes as previous reports suggested that the Prince and Princess of Wales had rejected Harry’s truce offer because he has caused “too much damage” with his claims and slights directed at the Royal Family.

These reports suggested that Harry had “spoken to William” and had said that he and Meghan Markle were “willing to move back to London and serve the King”.

In response to the reports, Ms Hewson said: “From where I am standing, I see absolutely no signs of that [happening] whatsoever.”

Prince Harry has fired accusations and claims from every angle, particularly over the past few months, with the Royal Family not responding to Harry’s outbursts.

TalkTV’s royal editor told Sky News Australia: “The damage, the wounds, are so deep that it’s going to take an awful lot, and an awful long time, to heal those wounds.

“At this stage, I just don’t see any evidence that there’s a desire, on either side, yet, to put an end to this.

“The real shame about this is all the good work that Harry and Meghan said that they wanted to do [and] that incredible work that Harry has done with Invictus Games, for example, has utterly [been] overshadowed by all of this family drama and it being played out in the media.

“The best thing that they could really do is focus on that work now, put aside that family spat, and really get on with the things that they said they wanted to do.

In January 2020, Meghan and Harry announced their wishes to step back from royal duties, desiring to “work to become financially independent”.

The pair then moved out of the UK later that year, settling into life in the US with their young son, Archie.

The couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Lilibet, in June 2021.
