2023 predictions: Dollar chaos, technology collapse, Russian attack and Trump to disappear

Gahl Eden Sasson, an astrologer and Kabbalist who uses the art of tarot reading and mythology told Express.co.uk his unsettling predictions for the new year.

This year brings a plethora of retrogrades and some potentially life-disrupting eclipses, according to the astrological expert.

Mr Sasson told Express.co.uk that the planet Uranus is in Taurus, which will cause “chaos and awakening”.

He said that “everything to do with mother nature is awakening in a sense”.

Gahl, author of The Astrology of 2023: Traversing the Bridge – Movement of the People, said Uranus moves in Taurus “every 84 years”, with the last time being during the great depression.

This, he said, sparks fears of further inflation, recessions and financial chaos around the world in the new year.

He said it’s not expected to be an “easy year” because “we have a lot of planets moving, some for the first time in hundreds of years”.

“When pluto last moved into Aquarius, there was the French revolution, the industrial revolution, and the American constitution was written. We can expect a lot of revolutions and transition in politics”, he said.

Gahl predicts that Russia will launch another attack, which will be “catastrophic” for both Ukraine and Moscow, as the Russian people, he predicts, will rise up and protest the war.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid will become futile as the astrologer predicts the business mogul will “go into the shadows and slowly disappear” from public life.

His forecasts also showed that the weather “is very much going to be crazy” in 2023.

“On top of everything, next year, we are going to see Saturn in Pisces, which could cause droughts in some parts of the world and flooding in other places.

“That is going to start happening very, very soon”, he warned.

Mr Sasson said to expect “economic drama” in the new year as Pluto moves into Aquarius as it is “associated with other people’s money – banking, investments and inheritance”.

He said in the past this has caused the collapse of traditional money making, but now it’s a collapse of “everything to do with Aquarius” such as technology and cryptocurrencies.

As well as a collapse in technology, Gahl also believes the supremacy of the dollar could be questioned in the new year, and suspects US currency could change in the next 20 years.
