Elsewhere in the BBC programme, Dan and Louise spoke with several professors and experts about the risks of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid vaccine.
The pair interviewed Dr Ellie Cannon who urged people to receive their jabs as she discussed the risks and the benefits of the vaccine.
She said: “We’re looking at rates at the moment for all this particular type of blood clot.
“If we took two and a half million people and instead of having the AstraZeneca vaccination if it is indeed the cause, we actually gave them Covid and we would expect around 2,000 deaths and that’s for 40-year-olds who are considered to be low risk.
“At this stage with the groups of people, we are vaccinating, the benefits of having the AstraZeneca vaccination far outweigh any risks so please attend your vaccination.”
BBC Breakfast airs daily at 6am on BBC One.
