Tiffany Haddish and Nicole Scherzinger open up on a variety of topics as Haddish guest hosts Friday’s edition of Ellen.

Haddish, 41, asked Scherzinger about her physical workouts with her boyfriend Thom Evans, a 36-year-old personal trainer, jokingly calling it ‘sexcercize.’

Scherzinger, 43, laughed at an appearance of a workout clip on the show’s large screen, saying, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s so funny I didn’t know they’re gonna show this.

‘Do you know what I love about this in the videos?’ she said. ‘We go like this, because he’s a control freak and I’m a control freak, but in the videos we’re really happy and really cute. He loves to work out, he keeps me motivated, and I motivate us on the videos,’ Scherzinger said.

Haddish and Scherzinger also discussed the merits of ice baths, as Haddish asked The Pussycat Dolls alum if she finds them to be painful.

‘Oh my gosh, how long do you stay in?’ Scherzinger asked Haddish, who responded, ‘I stay in for about a hot five-to-eight minutes before I start crying.’

Scherzinger responded, ‘Babe, you’re not supposed to go past six minutes!’ to which Haddish said, ‘Are you serious? Well I’m an overachiever – I’m hot in the pants I got to cool it off!’

Scherzinger said that she’s a proponent of the practice for the physical and mental benefits.

‘I love ice baths, it’s so good for your body but for me, it sharpens the mind like iron,’ she said. ‘It’s all mental for me, I have to put on some music and go into a zone.’ 

Haddish also chat with Scherzinger about her stint on The Masked Singer, which she’s a panelist on with Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke.

‘It’s so much fun, six seasons we’ve been on, it is the best, we’re such a tight family, we’ve all been together since season one, we had no idea we continue this far and it just gets better and better,’ she said, adding that ‘the caliber of talent the season is stratospheric.’

‘It’s like Fort Knox, I’m telling you,’ she said. ‘They don’t even let you leave your room, you don’t get to have personnel, you don’t get to have anybody on your team there.’

She continued: ‘They take you to your room away from everything in another building and they just lock down, and then they will bring you and escort you to the stage and you don’t get to go nowhere else, maybe the bathroom.’
