The Block's Tanya Guccione finally breaks her silence after dropping out of all media interviews

She’s been keeping a low profile after finally admitting she took the infamous production schedule photo during Sunday night’s explosive finale of The Block.

On Monday, the 40-year-old took to her Instagram Stories to reflect on the sale of their home, which went for a whopping $3,800,000.01 with a $400,000.01 profit.

A day earlier, a source told Daily Mail Australia that Tanya had dropped out of all media interviews in light of her involvement in the scandal.

A source said: ‘[Tanya] is over being in the spotlight and just wants to lie low for a while.’

Tanya and Vito Guccione found themselves at the centre of a cheating scandal early in the season, after Tanya obtained a photo of the show’s production schedule on a whiteboard and shared it with Luke and Josh.

Anyone who saw the photo would have the advantage of being able to plan their specifications weeks in advance or pre-order something for a specific room.

The Gucciones and the Packham twins were each docked two points for a room reveal after the scandal was exposed.

After claiming an ‘anonymous tradie’ had taken the photo for weeks, Tanya broke down and finally took responsibility for taking the photo during Sunday night’s finale.

‘What I want to say is that I am obviously taking full responsibility for this situation and I am sorry, I am truly sorry. Yes, I did. I took the photograph,’ she said tearfully.

She added: ‘I am not a stupid woman but I did a stupid thing. We take responsibility for what happened and where it ended up after that was obviously out of my power, but I started it.’
