Two of Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs were spotted in Los Angeles on Friday.  

Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans were seen filming final scenes for the upcoming feature The Gray Man in downtown LA.

The performers, aged 41 and 40, respectively, were spotted making their way to and from the project’s bustling set during the afternoon.

The forthcoming project is currently set to be released on the Netflix streaming service in the future.

Gosling wore a button-up jacket on top of a white t-shirt during his time on set.

The Only God Forgives star also sported a pair of light brown pants and a darker set of high-top boots.

Evans opted for a black t-shirt and a matching set of trousers that were both contrasted with a set of white sneakers.

Development on The Gray Man initially began in 2011, when James Gray and Adam Cozad signed on to direct and write its screenplay, respectively.

The feature is based on Mark Grearney’s novel of the same name, which was previously released in 2009.

Charlize Theron later signed on to star in a gender-swapped version of the feature, which would have featured a screenplay written by Anthony and Joe Russo.

The actress later departed the project, although the filmmakers decided to helm the film and pass screenwriting duties to Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and the latter of the brothers stayed on to work on the flick’s script.

The film is centered on CIA agent Court Gentry, who is betrayed by an individual within the agency and forced to go on the run.

Lloyd Hansen, who previously worked with Gentry, is then dispatched to begin a manhunt for his former colleague.

Gosling and Evans, who will portray Gentry and Hansen, respectively, signed on to work on the feature in 2020.

An ensemble cast of performers such as Ana de Armas, Wagner Moura and Billy Bob Thornton was brought together over that year and the next.

Physical production was initially set to begin this past January, although shooting was delayed due to the ongoing state of the global pandemic.

Filming eventually commenced this past March and took place in several locations around Europe.

After several months of work, shooting initially wrapped this past July before reshoots and further filming began.

The feature is being looked at as the start of a potential new action-thriller franchise.

The Gray Man currently does not have a scheduled release date.
