The brief tweet read: “Wishing The Princess of Wales a very Happy Birthday today!”
The message was accompanied by a picture of the royal in which she smiles widely while receiving a bouquet of flowers from an adorable child wearing a traditional Welsh dress.
Kate, wearing a red coat, was carrying out an official visit to Wales with Prince William when the picture was taken.
