Romeo Beckham adds Canada Goose to his fashion portfolio as he shows off his modelling credentials in their debut footwear campaign


He swapped Burberry for the back of the net as he made his professional football debut with Fort Lauderdale in September. 

But Romeo Beckham was back adding to his fashion portfolio as he stars as the face of Canada Goose’s new line of footwear. 

The 19-year-old showed off his modelling credentials in campaign imagery taken in the mountainous Whistler, British Columbia.

In the promo shots, Romeo could be seen in a grey Canada Goose bomber jacket styled with a hiking boot named the Journey Boot, from the debut collection.

In other shots the model donned a white puffer jacket and the high performance Snow Mantra Boot as he battled Canada’s snowy terrain.  

The Forces of Nature campaign aims to be reflective of personal journeys in the photos which see the Arctic luxury clothing modelled against the wintery backdrop.

Recently, the Canada Goose has been working on animal welfare and sustainability in a move which sees the brand carve a more responsible image.

The brand has achieved Responsible Down Standard and issued a statement saying that they aim: ‘To keep this planet cold and the people on it warm.’ 

Romeo documented his new venture to his 3.1m Instagram followers in a post that he captioned: ‘Awesome to be part of the first ever @canadagoose Footwear Campaign. Incredible project to work on in a new era of sustainability for the brand.’  

Romeo stars alongside former NHL player Jordin Tootoo and activist Sarain Fox who will serve as indigenous representatives.

Romeo’s work with Canada Goose comes after he joined Fort Lauderdale – the reserve team of Inter Miami, the Major League Soccer side founded and owned by his dad. 

His first outing for the team came in a 2-2 home draw with South Georgia Tormenta in September.

Football fans delivered a damning assessment of Romeo’s professional debut, insisting comparisons to his father David end with their position on the pitch.
