New beau: Lily-Sue has been spotted out with new beau Dayen Dayen Blanchard, 26,
Speaking to Ok online she said she turned down the chance to be a Love Islander because ‘It would be her worst nightmare to be seen loved-up with a stranger on telly.’
She added while she was keen to get into show business, ‘Love Island wasn’t the way forward.’
‘It’s not a bit of me – not in a rude way, it’s a fun show – but if I was going to make a big TV debut, it would not be with Love Island.’

The teen went on to explain that in ‘no disrespect’ to the show, she personally disliked ‘being romantic’ or showing off her body.

‘For most people going in the villa, being surrounded by all those hunky men, it’s a dream come true – for me, it’d be my worst nightmare,’
‘It’s not me. It’s no diss to Love Island or the people who go on there but I hate PDAs.’
Lily-Sue whose father is former Westlife star Brian Mcfadden admitted that when it comes to relationships she likes to have intellectual conversations and a laugh.’
But there’s another reason Lilly wouldn’t take part – she doesn’t want to offend her nan, Brian’s mum Mairead!
‘She said ‘I have a Catholic nan in Ireland!, It would kill her if I went on the show!
‘As for my dad, he couldn’t say much if I did choose to go down that path – I’m 18 years old so he can’t really have an opinion on what I do, but of course I’d take his thoughts into consideration.’
‘My mum would be fine with it, she’s made me who I am and I know she’d support me no matter what. My dad’s a bit more stubborn, though!’
