One Tree Hill cast members enjoy mini reunion a decade later at A Weekend In Tree Hill fundraiser

A handful of cast members from the hit CW show One Tree Hill all reunited this weekend at a fundraiser held in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Jana Kramer, Stephen Colletti, Kate Voegele, Shantel VanSanten and Austin Nichols were all in attendance at weekend-long benefit called A Weekend In Tree Hill.

The event — which was hosted by Friend With Benefits Charity Events—was held at the space that housed the show’s TRIC nightclub, and featured both live and virtual performances from some of the cast.

The non-profit organization had last hosted a One Tree Hill centered fundraiser in 2019 to help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and The Girls Project.

In a similar vein that weekend-long event included a benefit concert, meet and greets, and pictures as well.

Jana (who played Alex) posted an abundance of social media content of the meet-up with captions that nodded to a continuation of certain relationships in the teen drama series.

In one snap she was seen fighting over Colletti (Chase) with Voegel (Mia). ‘And the saga continues. Who do you think chase should have picked,’ she wrote of the love triangle in the show.

As in the end of the series the Laguna Beach alum chose Kramer’s character, she was also seen posing for a fictitious couple’s shot.

In another series of images she posed with Nichols (Julian) and joked about a ‘plot twist.’ In the show his character ultimately chose Bush’s character Brooke.

‘”Brooke got the boy…Alex got the man” Julian and Alex are ow together years later. What do the cool kids say? Do y’all ship this?’ she asked of what fans would think.

And in another series of snaps she teased a ‘final plot twist’ that nodded to her up and down friendship with VanSanten (Quinn) in the show, and joked that the duo were actually ‘soulmates.’

‘The final plot twist….Quinn and Alex are soulmates. But for real in real life. I love this girls heart so much. And I’m so glad we got to hug, cry and laugh all in less than 24hours. I love you,’ she wrote.

At the musical portion of event on Friday evening, Kramer and Voegele performed separately and together as they dueted a song by The Chicks.

The evening also featured a virtual performance from Tyler Hilton (Chris) and co-star Antwon Tanner (Skills) played MC.

Saturday was full of fan events but by that evening the former co-stars all boarded planes to their respective homes.

Not pictured at the meetup this year, were Sophia Bush (Brooke), Chad Michael Murray (Lucas), Hilarie Burton (Peyton), James Lafferty (Nathan) or Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley) among others.

The hit teen drama series ran for nine seasons (2003 to 2012) and served as a launch point for the group’s careers.

In 2017 Burton had alleged that she incurred sexual abuse and harassment from the show’s creator and showrunner Mark Schwahn starting in season three, and recounted the trauma in conversation with Variety.

Burton as well as Murray had been written off the show at the end of season six, with Chad’s reportedly due to a dispute over his contract negotiations.

Bush still keeps her OTH connection alive by way of a podcast she started called Drama Queens with Burton and Lentz.
