Megan Markle, who suffered a miscarriage last year, has been praised by TV personality Chrissy Teigen for being “kind” and hit out at those who have made the Duchess of Sussex out to be “malicious”. The cookbook author, 35, also revealed that she and the Duchess, 39, have spoken on multiple occasions.
Chrissy revealed that Meghan had contacted her after the model, who is married to John Legend, lost their third child Jack.
She suffered complications halfway through her pregnancy.
Responding to a fan question during US show Watch What Happens Live!, Chrissy explained that Meghan had wrote to her following her tragic loss.
Chrissy said: “Yeah, she’s been so kind to me ever since we connected.

“She had written to me about baby Jack… but yeah she is really wonderful and so kind — just as kind as everyone says she is.”
The former Sports Illustrated model admitted she didn’t understand negative comments made towards Meghan.
She continued: “That’s why you look at everything and you’re like, ‘My god, what is absolutely wrong with people that they have to make this person out to be so malicious or so crazy?’
“When it’s just as simple as them being as kind as everyone says they are.”
The TV personality spoke to Harry and Meghan following their tell-all interview which aired last month.
“I think her truth has been her truth since the very beginning,” Chrissy commented.
The author and foodie tragically lost her third child last year, months before her February due date.
The Duchess of Sussex previously revealed she had a miscarriage in July, writing in an article of feeling “an almost unbearable grief”.
“I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second,” Meghan said in a piece for the New York Times.
She went on to describe how she watched “my husband’s heartbreak as he tried to hold the shattered pieces of mine”.
Meghan wrote that “loss and pain have plagued every one of us in 2020”.
Harry and Meghan have since shared that they are expecting a baby girl who is expected to arrive this summer.
