Influencer Kurt Coleman slams Instagram for ‘not letting him post’ a lengthy rant about how ‘everything around him is fake’ and the shortfalls of seeking fame


He’s best known for achieving immense fame through Instagram.

But Kurt Coleman wasn’t happy with the social media platform on Tuesday, blasting them for supposedly not letting him publish a lengthy rant her wrote six years ago.

‘I just wrote something so true to my heart and how I really feel… And this is what I get? HELP!!!! It won’t let me post it,’ the influencer wrote in a caption.

Kurt, 24, managed to circumvent Instagram’s apparent restrictions by burying the rant behind a video in a gallery post.

‘Something I wrote called a “fake reality,” he wrote in the second slide of the post. ‘This video came up in my Facebook memories from 6 years ago.’ 

‘At that time in my life, everything around me was FAKE,’ he continued. ‘But I truly believed it was real.’ 

He added that the ‘CONTROL that is going on in this world’ made him want to change what he wanted out of his future.

Kurt proceeded to go into detail about his obsession with fame from a young age, which he now acknowledges is not a ‘true’ life and not what he wants. 

He believes that many people are simply seeking fame, acting ‘fake’ and trying to put ‘on a show’ that’s perceived as socially acceptable.

‘Everything you see is for show. Everyone’s trying to look like and saying what they think is the right thing,’ Kurt said.  

The influencer described how he was ‘taken advantage of’ in the past by others, pointing out instances where he was told to take his shirt off for photoshoots as a young teenager and sometimes received no payment for his work.

‘So to everyone: why don’t you BE YOURSELF, and don’t ever be scared to say whatever you feel.’ 

Coleman went on to thank the ‘real people’ who have supported him in recent years.
